Summary: | In today’s world, engineers experience numerous challenges from designing, implementing, maintaining to troubleshooting technologies. With the advent of science and technology, engineers are developing and formulating more complex computations now than ever before with the aim to provide solutions for the future needs. Engineers compute equations comprising large range of parameters and values, in other words they handle multiple units and prefixes in computations. Engineers are also required to compute and troubleshoot errors onsite; this supports the need for the use of portable devices for calculations rather than a Mathematical Software on conventional computers.
Through this Final year Project, an application was designed for the purpose of providing solutions for Renewable Energy calculations. The application developed based on a common problem of units and prefixes that are undetected by conventional scientific calculators. Thus, the project aimed to benefit engineers by minimizing computational errors and spending more time and resources on engineering solutions rather than on debugging computational errors. |
