The software use is the Arduino Integrated Development Environment for programming of both the Arduino board and Annikken Andee app. A voltage divider is first design and build to decrease the receivable voltage by the Arduino board, hence ensuring that the Arduino board will not be burnt by the large voltage of the car battery. Codes are then written to convert the received voltage to the actual car battery voltage through some calculations. The program also establishes Bluetooth connection between the device and the android smartphone to send the data onto the display. The device is then tested on a car to obtain the status of the car battery. Results of the voltage reading are shown to validate the vehicle’s health. Recommendations are suggested to improve on the hardware design and also to include more features to the software application.
