Enlisting in the Engineering Department and drafted to Technical Services, the author was greatly involved in ensuring continued airworthiness of the fleet through regular monitoring of Airworthiness Directives(AD). the author was required to employ his analytical skills to evaluate such documents and formulate a logical plan of action. Also honing his skills in defects rectification and prevention services, the author provided considerable troubleshooting/defect analysis support. Collaborating together with the reliability engineer, the author was given the opportunity to devise a systematic approach, comprising of an array of research tools, to diagnose recurring defects. Another of the author's assignment focused on understanding the complete process of the airline's reliability program. The author's knowledge and capability was put to the test during the preparation and exposition of the Reliability Control Board presentation. The author would also discuss in this report, other tasks accomplished for other projects, such as the uploading of performance reports of the aircrafts. The outcome of the tasks completed assisted the author's supervisors to formulate conclusions on the aircrafts' operations. This report illustrates how the author maximised the learning opportunities presented to him and how the gained experiences impacted the author.
