This report summarizes the author’s works and experiences during the 22 week Industrial Attachment with ExxonMobil. The industrial attachment aims to expose the author to real industrial environment where he can practise and apply the knowledge and skills acquired in school. The author was attached to the Technology/System Application Section of the Plant Computing Group Department and his work mainly deals with programming, networking, and IT related issues. The report starts with an introduction of ExxonMobil and their operations in Singapore. After which, the author will introduce the projects that he has participated in, namely Software License Management, Enhancement to Network Devices Monitoring and Failure Alert System, Enhancement to Network Health Monitoring Tool. These projects expose him to different technical skills in different areas like programming, networking, and other skills like communication and project management. Detailed technical information such as codes and data sheets is included at the end of the report as appendices so as to make the report more readable
