Summary:This report is written to present and document a concise overview of the tasks performed, experience gained and the knowledge acquired by the author during her 22- week industrial attachment with Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (IMRE). In the 22 weeks of attachment, the author devoted most of her time to the project on organic polymer photovoltaic (OPV) cells. Hence this report mainly focuses on the introduction, background information, experimental design, and data analysis of the OPV project. Moreover, this report will provide detailed explanation and examples of various learning and equipment trainings that the author has tasked with. Relevant pictures, graphs and diagrams will also be presented for a better illustration and documentation of what the author had experienced and learned throughout the industrial attachment period. Finally, a chapter of conclusion will be provided at the end of the report to serve as a reflection on the author’s learning, experience, and contributions during her industrial attachment.
