| Summary: | This report summarizes and highlights the 22 weeks of Industrial Attachment at IGnesis Consultants Pte Ltd. The student was given the role of an intern to assist the engineers and engage in Fire Safety, Sustainable Green Design and Mechanical Engineering projects.
The first chapter of this report is the Introduction which consists of the Company Profile, Objectives, and Scope of the Report and the student’s Job Scope.
The second chapter discusses the various software that was used extensively in the course of the student’s internship. This includes a brief introduction and utilization methods of the special software used in this industry, i.e. Fire Dynamics Simulator and Phoenics as well as several common software, i.e. Microsoft Office.
The third chapter is focusing on the projects the student was involved in. There are 3 projects featured in this report – A Condominium project, Community Centre project and Warehouse project. These 3 were chosen out of total 11 projects the student was involved in due to confidentiality issues for release to external parties as well as allowing a more comprehensive coverage on the nature of these projects and the software used.
In the final chapter, the student will conclude on his learning experiences and his personal take on the Industrial Attachment period. |
