Summary:Industrial attachment is a learning process by which exposing the student in real life working environment as part of an academic curriculum helps to develop and enhance academic, personal and professional competencies. In the 22 weeks of industrial attachment with RSP Architects Planners and Engineers (Pte) Ltd, there have been stress and fun. The author enjoys the satisfaction of doing real life engineering work and shouldering real responsibility. This is especially so to a Civil Engineering student, where ideas and designs turn into sound and robust structures. This report aims to share the valuable experience gained by the author who work under a structural engineering consultant.
