In this research, I have discovered that the relationships that are forged between these two groups of foreigners are constantly being met with the contestation of intimacy vis-à-vis the reestablishment and negotiation of professional boundaries. I explore the ways of how expatriate families navigate through their relationships with a stranger employee in their own private spaces via their lived experiences.
