This is a study of how homosexual women in Singapore are able to negotiate meaningful relationships in a heteronormative society with respect to the family unit. By using data from qualitative interviews with twelve self-proclaimed homosexual women, this research aims to investigate the experiences of these women as they embark on their journey to create a family they call their own.
