One of the many solutions suggested is through technology benefits. Research has clearly shown that applications created in tablets will improve brain activities or rather cognitive functions of patients suffering from Dementia or memory loss. In addition, Android Applications help caregivers in assisting patients by alleviating depression and agitations. The purpose of this project is to enhance the existing Android project- Esperanza. This is to meet the demands of increasing number of dementia patients especially with the elderly age group. Through research and findings, these games are specially created to improve patient’s abilities in the following areas: Memory, speed, attention, flexibility and problem solving. Dementia patients will play these interactive games through Android tablet. In this project enhancements, two Android games application have been created. The games are "Pattern Sequence" and "Right Catch". They are created to enhance the functionalities of Esperanza, providing a wider range of applications made available to dementia patient. These games are uniquely designed in improving the memory, speed and attention abilities of users. Different games' stages in each Android application are implemented to provide sufficient challenges to users.
