Due to the current advancement of technologies, they can easily get information or accomplish tasks conveniently with a few clicks and on the move. Not only that, mobile devices are also very much used for communication purposes which enables people to stay connected to each other. Most of these things cannot be achieved without the use of radio. Radio waves are used to transmit digital data and it can also travel for very long distance per second through the air. Despite radio communication being indispensible, there exists a critical security issue as any data could be intercepted through the air. Online criminals could exploit this weakness and carry out malicious tasks. Furthermore, many users are lacking the security knowledge to protect their data as they use their mobile devices. Therefore, this project will look into the topic of non-radio communication, specifically, vibration-based using mobile device. With the use of non-radio communication on mobile devices, it is harder for the data to be intercepted and thus providing the user better security when important data is concerned. Existing software based security implementations will also be incorporated to enhance the security further.
