Description
Summary:In the current advancement in technology, the way of learning has been evolving from physical to more varieties of channels like virtual learning. Institutions have also been finding ways to tap onto the available resources to inculcate interactive learning for the learners. Remote Laboratory is one of the ways which learning has been changing from attending physical laboratories to an online laboratory exercises. Remote Laboratories enables the learners to complete the exercise on their own pace without travelling down for lessons. Those exercises could also be implemented across borders for keen learners to explore on the exercise. Institutions could also better utilise the resources on equipment, space and staffing. Remote Laboratory does not only be applicable for institutions and learners. Businesses like Semiconductor Developers could also look into showcasing the capabilities of the components which they have developed to attract more buyers. This report looks into the backend server configuration with low cost embedded μP systems. The building blocks of achieving the outcome include Computer Networking, Microcontroller-Based Systems, Inexpensive Real-Time Servers with Configuration and Web-Based Applications with Server Scripting.
