Summary:Internationally, biographical films (biopics) remain quite prominent up till today, often producing some of the best tour-de-force performances and shedding light on the social and political history of a particular era or nation. Unfortunately, we have yet to see a similar film that depicts one of the many historical figures that our nation has and attributed our independence to. Hence, with this graduation project, I chose to selectively write on the life history and political journey of Mr Othman Wok, up till his involvement in attaining Singapore’s independence.
