Trust management for large-scale heterogeneous wireless sensor and actuator networks (II)

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) are proven a helpful technology for collecting data representing the real world and processing it. So, seeing WSN deployed in remote area is getting more and more common. Having the ability to collect data automatically, the WSN is usually left unattended. Perpetrators...

So, seeing WSN deployed in remote area is getting more and more common. Having the ability to collect data automatically, the WSN is usually left unattended. Perpetrators exploit this advantage and damage the data integrity by attacking (inject false data or physically) the WSN. In order to keep the advantage of collecting data automatically and having the ability to filter the injected data or identify the compromised nodes, trust management systems could play an important role. In this project, we see how we can identify injected data by monitoring individual nodes behaviour and interaction using math. During the experiment stage, the math formula evolves to overcome the shortcoming coming from the predecessors.
