| Summary: | The main objective of this thesis is to address the checking of the layout of wires in wire bonder recipes. A wire bonder recipe is a pre-planned and reusable set of parameters and settings that determine how wire bonding is to be performed. A recipe needs to be checked to ascertain that the wire layout is as per specification, and keeps within the given tolerance. This dissertation discusses the design and development of the software for doing the checking. It shows how the checker can be applied over the intranet and highlights its potential and impacts. |
