This paper aims to find out the combined-effects concurrency across different cloud storages in a collaborative environment, and to devise a benchmarking mechanism suitable for use. The paper also shows how Box and Google Drive handles conflicting operations, and reveals that Google Drive was inconsistent in reproducing replicated copies of the files. From the findings, this paper will contribute to better inform cloud storage providers the problems that surfaced during our research, and show how our benchmarking tool can serve as a tool to test the robustness of the cloud storage.
