Individuals were thus exposed to large amount of data online each day and as a result, the amount of data read or created by individuals increased over the years. New techniques therefore need to be developed to allow quick, efficient and effective creation of infographics and visualization of data in order for individuals to be able to grasp information from these data easily. The purpose of this project was thus to develop a simple animation application that allows users, notably users such as bloggers who have little or no experience in working with sophisticated data visualization or infographics software to create a quick animation on existing SVG images. Survey was therefore done on 10 subjects who had no past experience in using animation software prior and after implementation of the application to obtain the direct feedbacks regarding Visimo, which is the name for this project’s implementation. Testing was done on the Google Web Browser to verify the functionalities of the changes made to Visimo. Result shows that there could be future improvement in the flexibility of editing animation's variables after they were created.
