Many studies have been made in this area and although there have been efforts to make these systems available electronically however, it has not been successfully implemented in all hospitals and there are hospitals who have yet to make the change electronically as far as some of their daily operations are concerned. Although some hospitals still manage to implement these features, feedback is that some of them do not have an data-driven edge to it and therefore are restrictive in certain areas of patient reporting. This project aims to discover the fundamental operations of hospitals and integrate them into a system that would be able to offer hospitals an electronic edge in their daily operations, also looking into account areas where hospital management systems can be improved upon and implementing them in the best manner possible.
