Description
Summary:I had the intention of directing a stop-motion animation for my final year project since I took the stop-motion course in year two. I have been trying to write the script for my final year project ever since. The initial story was crafted in year 3 semester one, during my exchange in Stuttgart, Germany. The original story was a Croatian fairy tale told to me by a Croatian friend of mine, it involves a fairy and giant going on an adventure together. I am particularly drawn to the imperfection of a stop motion animation. The poignant look of a slow-paced stop motion animation, such as the visual style of Allison Schulnik, is something I enjoy as well. I was trying to envision a stop motion animation that is simple in terms of story, but sophisticated in terms of visual and symbolism.
