It will detail how the story started, the problems faced in pre-production and the obstacles overcomed in the making of the film. To Mum (Love, Me) is first and foremost a story about the relationship between a mother and daughter, the way that the relationship changes and how the two characters evolve throughout the course of the film. It deals with the idea of coming out in Singapore, which is still a traditional society.
