Description
Summary:A visual dialogue exploring traces of time within architectural spaces or objects of significance. Taking Singapore as a starting point, from my perspective of our generation looking into the familiar yet unfamiliar landscape of where I am born and raised in. Most of the rich cultures seem to belong to a different era — the distance of time has created a disconnection between space and people. An attempt to connect time, space and people, an experimental exploration into poetic expression of space within places, based upon spatial experience through photography, video, literature and various mediums. In hope that through the process, these places and objects can take on new meanings; and that the collective memory of our nation could extend beyond our generation.
