Devices such as Nintendo Wii, Microsoft Kinect, Oculus Rift and Leap Motion are getting popular with the implementation of gestures recognition in games. Even with such advance technologies, adopting gestures in application still have lots of potential to evolve to become the next generation’s computer-human interation solution. This project aims to adopt this new form of interaction between human and computer to develop a leap motion virtual piano with synthesia. With the interest in music, especially in terms of piano application, this project strives to in-cooperate leap motion technology with a virtual piano to allow users to play a piano with just waving their hands in the air. Then after, goes on to implement a mini synthesia game to enrich the experience for users to have fun when using the application.
