Description
Summary:As information technology has been booming since a few decades ago, information explosion issue has caused people’s attention. Effective content management systems and efficient data dissemination systems are extremely needed to deal with the issues brought by the rapid increasing web contents. In this project, an intelligent data dissemination system is developed on the platform of Photonics Global Conference website for year 2017. All the steps in the development cycle of this intelligent data dissemination system are mentioned in the report, which includes user requirements analysis, system design, system implementation, testing and maintenance. Introduction of content management system and data dissemination system is provided in the Literature Review chapter. These two systems are important for successful information management. According to the user requirements, the system is built on four-tier architecture. Lots of web designing tools and languages are learnt and utilized in this project. User-friendly functions are programmed for both the front end (website used by general users) and the back end (website used by administrative people). For the completeness of a software development cycle, security issues and system maintenance measures are also mentioned. At the end of the report, conclusions and recommendations for future work are made for the purpose of further system development.
