Description
Summary:Divorce and annulment rates have been on an increasing trend and lack of communication is a prevailing cause. With the evolution of social media and advancements in technology, people are distracted and tend to lead a “virtual life” instead on focusing on physical human relationships with one another, especially their partner. However, the author believes that technology is a double-edged sword which can be used help couples forge a stronger relationship. Therefore, the author is proposing an Android application where couples can use to build a virtual life together, with the main focus on text messaging. This application will include two key features. Firstly, periodic reminders to remind the user to communicate with his/her partner. Secondly, a sentiment score of each message will be computed to allow partners to understand each other better and reduce chances of misunderstandings. With every application comes the need for a good user interface. In this report, the author will be elaborating more about the design concept for this application.
