Summary:The Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) is a national examination in Singapore taken by all students in their final year in primary school. Grammar, being the foundation of communication and the building block of language, is largely emphasised in PSLE English Language. E-learning has grown rapidly worldwide and the increase in usage of e-learning across all level of Singapore’s education has been noticed. This report zooms in on the web based e-learning system that built to allow students to learn and practice grammar in preparation for their PSLE English examination. The grammar learning systems focus on the different grammar sections found in the examination. These grammar sections were analysed in detail and contains a wide range of functions to aid in students’ learning. The range of functions allows students to search, browse, learn concepts and practice questions on each grammar section. Students are also able to discuss with other students through the forum. The learning system is also able to track student’s usage. These functions are also tailored to each of the different grammar sections to assess the different grammar knowledge that have different requirements.
