As such, sustain-ing a stable, reliable and efficient power system is an essential. Laboratory for Clean Energy Research (LaCER) has researched on the power system by using the microgrid scale. They have used 3 kinds of different devices/equipment (i.e. generator, programmable source and resistance load) to create a stimulation which is similar when an electronic device is used. In this report, we will be focusing on the creation of a programmable program which is able to detect the changes in the frequency and the power consumed, and adjust back to the desired frequency and distributing the power generation by the generator accordingly. We will be looking into the basic theory of what is Load Frequency Control (LFC), the working principle and the operations of two generators (i.e. synchronous and asynchronous). We will be dis-cussing on the different equations that will be used in creating the program so that the pro-gram would adjust the changes back to the desired frequency. We will also look at what are the hard and software components that would be used in the creation of the program. How-ever, we will focus more on the steps of creating the program (Graphical User Interface (GUI)) which would control and adjusting the generators sources. With the understanding and the calculated value(s), we will be able to create a stable power system which we would use in our daily life.
