Summary:This report presents an analysis on the impact of projection welding parameters on the quality of the welding interface. The microstructural analysis of the cross-section of welds supported by the C-scan analysis are used to determine the amount of applied welding current, pressure and number of cycles that can produce good quality welds. The A-scan analysis shows that it is not an accurate method for measuring the strength of welds. The outcome of the analyzed result is subjected to the way the user does the experiment.
