[3] The object of this project is to create an interactive web portal showcasing Lamjung Yolmo culture and lingual lexicon, in order to promote Lamjung Yolmo’s language, folktales and customs to the world, and to display the lexicon for linguists and related researchers. The project is constructed in two parts: a web-based game and online lexical archive for English-Lamjung Yolmo-Nepali dictionary with additional functionalities, which are developed by two students. The report author works on the website, which allows users to search words in three languages: English, Lamjung Yolmo and Nepali and register as members to mark up and save words. This report expatiates the lifecycle of web design and development. The user interface design principles are applied throughout the design process. Suitable approaches of web implementation are introduced. Testing scenarios are also analyzed. At the end of the report, the limitations of the project and future enhancement recommendations are presented.
