A new type of 3D printing system is introduced. The desktop-size 3D printer is assembled with a fixed extruder and removable bed. Since there are technology gap and high demand for remote controlling, a remote control system is also developed for 3D printer remote controlling, including automatic control and manual control. With such a remote control software, the objective “Make it possible to print an object everywhere simply with the access to Internet.” is achieved. The continence is dramatically increased. Only having two functions becomes a limitation for this software. In the future, additional features could be added to the software. Supporting technologies, such as computer-aided design and special function materials, are also discussed in this report. By using special materials, such as thermochromic and conductive material, objects with different properties are printed out. In the last, future applications and commercialization methods are introduced in the end.
