Summary:Over the recent years, residential property market in Singapore, especially non-landed private residential property market, has been growing with leaps and bounds. The number of private property developments especially on condominiums, are on a rising demand with property prices trading above benchmark pricing. Thus, this has caused many to eye for a piece of private property with hoping to benefit from both capital appreciation and rental. In this report, private residential properties (condominium) in Singapore will be considered and analyzed thoroughly. General information on property type, market cycle and cooling measures implemented by Singapore Government will provide for the readers to understand the current property market situation. Further analysis on using property investment context, such as using Property Price Index as property price observation, capital gain and rental yield comparison using different regions in Singapore, will be discussed. On top of that, popular districts from different regions in Singapore will be analyzed to provide readers an insight view which relates to property investment in this report.
