The report then details about the design and safety features of the gas-cooled reactors of different generation and conclude by a discussion of the future prospect of the VHTR and its application in Singapore. In conclusion, the report will detail from the basics of nuclear physics to the design and safety features of the different gas-cooled reactors. The report will then conclude with the future prospect of the VHTR and the author’s opinion on its applicability in Singapore.
