Summary:This report describes the rheological of a HEUR associative polymer with C-16H33 end groups at 2.0wt% in various glycerol-water mixtures. With increasing temperatures, the viscosity, relaxation time and number of mechanically active junctions of solution decrease. The maximum viscosity is at 10%wt glycerol, and further increases the glycerol concentration reduces the viscosity, due to weaker hydrogen bond formed between the polymer and the glycerol.
