The cost of such handheld device is becoming cheaper and much more available as compared to the past. One thing to note is that the processing power of such device has improved tremendously over the years and industries has been actively exploring the uses to improve its products. Programmers all over the world are vigorously developing applications for such smart devices; as a result, there is millions of application available in the “Apps store”. With all this, it is reasonable to think and make use of the benefits of such devices to develop something that is able to help the people. As we can see, due to the pace of living in Singapore, more and more people choose to eat unhealthy outside food than home cooked food. This resulted in the high of people with chronic problems e.g. high blood pressure and high cholesterol. The proposed project is to enable mobile phone user to record and track their blood pressure over a period of time.
