It follows a Singaporean girl who experiences 3 wedding photography sessions- as a child, a young lady and a mother. Featuring the similar scenes that took place at different eras, this film covers three generations that spreads over the span of 50 over years. These shots explore the changes in traditions and culture in Singapore as the definition of family and happiness evolves. Similar to how a usual romantic relationship would be, the making of this experimental short film underwent the different stages as well; from how the initial idea came about, to realizations of difficulties, to what decisions we make to keep the project going, and finally to produce it. This report documents the reflections, thoughts and process during the production of this co-directed film, showing how the project idea evolved over the months like how a romantic relationship between two would mature over time.
