Description
Summary:The 3D Printing technologies or additive manufacturing (AM) is a new technology that is capable to directly generate the physical object from graphical computer data which is called 3 Dimensional Computer-aided Design (CAD) model. This report presents an experimental research on 3D Printing technologies which included several processes. This research studied the usability of 3D Printing technologies in developing customized components or parts for unmanned vehicles suspension system. The process included Design the components by using 3D drawing software such as Solidworks, Build the prototype component using 3D Printer, Inspect the component and modify the error in CAD and improve the design. When the component is acceptable, and the functional test model was built to perform functional testing. The different 3D Technology printer also study in this report in order to choose the suitable printing method and material. The basic research of the 3D technology printer according to the different material which includes Liquid based, Powder based and Solid based.
