Description
Summary:Noise pollution is commonly described as disturbing and excessive noise which affects the quality of life for the population. Common causes include transportation systems or heavy machine work. People exposed to such high levels of sound may incur irreversible damages to their hearing. Sound insulation and sound transmission can be used to minimize such damages to the ear drums preventing aforementioned injuries. This project seeks to develop a sound transmission test to investigate the factors that may affect sound transmission and to determine the conditions for optimal sound transmission. This final year project will also address limitations throughout the experiment and provide a better platform for future projects to work with.
