Summary: | This report provides a brief overview of the Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) system. The OCT is a noninvasive medical imaging technique using low coherence interferometry to obtain high-resolution cross-sectional images of biological tissues. The report steps through the procedures in verifying the wavelength of the laser source using the Michelson Interferometer. It will also detail the process of creating an Android App that will enable users to control the OCT system’s scanning mechanism (a linear stage having an RS232 serial port). |
