Summary: | The project aims to study the various perpetual motion devices that are in the scientific community, then design and fabricate a perpetual motion prototype that leverage on energy from unconventional sources. Such unconventional sources would be radiant energy and zero-point energy. Well-known perpetual motion devices that use such sources would be the John Bedini School Girl Energizer (Bedini SSG), the Tur-Tur motor and Motionless Electromagnetic Generator (MEG). Upon reading through the patents, journals and online researches, the Bedini SSG is chosen as the foundation of the prototype. With the help of design strategies, such as the functional analysis and morphological chart, the prototype is designed and successfully fabricated. Upon the completion of the prototype, it is tested to observe if it could obtain a Coefficient of Performance (COP) more than one. The circuit is first optimised, so it could run at the highest RPM with the lowest current drawn. Then experiments were carried out to verify the COP of Bedini SSG. |
