I was attached to Autodesk Asia Pte. Ltd. from 13th Jan 2014 to 30th May 2014 for a 22 week industrial attachment. It was a great opportunity for me to do this internship in Autodesk. As an intern, I was part of the Reality Solution team which provides to 2D to 3D conversion and large mesh processing. Few projects were undertaken during the internship at Autodesk including porting Memento to Mac OS X, add check video update functionality to Memento, Mesh Segmentation using OpenCL and design and implementation of Large Mesh Web Viewer. It was great fun interning at Autodesk. It is not just working here, teams sometimes go out for lunch or dinner together. This internship has definitely given me new insights and motivation to pursue a career in software development.
