| Summary: | The 25-weeks Industrial Attachment(IA) program provided the author a good
opportunity to apply what he has learnt from his course study to real work
applications. This report is a brief summary of author’s experience as an intern at
the Planning and Procurement department of AppleCare, Apple South Asia Pte. Ltd.
This attachment is a compulsory program of the academic curriculum in School of
Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
The author’s job is to automate supply chain process. This report described the
process of learning AppleScript, SAP, Excel and File Maker Pro. The application of
these tools is highlighted. Moreover, the teamwork and other useful knowledge and
skills will be discussed as they make an important part of the author’s internship.
Working with such a great team on improving the business process, collaborating
with teammates from different countries and cultural backgrounds, the internship is
a priceless experience for the author. |
