| Summary: | Tech-savvy smartphone users are increasing rapidly; mobile devices are already integrated into our daily life and have become something that is indispensable. And thus, development of mobile applications is also gradually becoming more popular. This project aims to develop a Restaurant Reservation Application on an iOS platform. The purpose of the project is to enhance diner’s dining experience, put an end to the possibility of a long queue outside restaurants and eliminate any frustrations when making reservations. Another purpose of the project is to get exposure from coding an iOS application using Objective-C programming language. The development platform used is Xcode and the application used an online database, MySQL. Throughout the two semesters, the student managed to accomplish the project with a functioning application that can perform the tasks specified. From little knowledge regarding iOS development and Objective-C programming language, the student has familiarized herself with considerable comprehension on chow to create an iOS application. |
