In this project, the focus is on bridging IP AXIS CCTV cameras and windows based system using a C#. Hardware implementation such as establishing a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN), and configure all the 3 AXIS IP cameras that allow user access cameras from outside NTU. Software implementation such as design client software and server software using Microsoft Visual Studio and Axis Media Control Software Development Kit (SDK). The result obtained that in client software that user can click the CCTV icon watch the live view, listen the sound simultaneous and control the Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) camera the and capture photos and record videos and to client PC from outside the NTU network, for server software that user can record the video to local storage devices such as hard disk or SD card based on motion detection and auto tracking, user also can retrieve and playback the video from the server software.
