As a result, there have been increasing numbers of sustainable buildings. Among all the clean energies, solar energy is the most common and popular which is used in sustainable buildings. In order to make use of the solar energy efficiently, a lot of researches has been conducted in this current age. Harvesting solar energy efficiently and innovative solar energy conversion technique are among them. [1,4] This project attempted to improve the current solar harvesting process by obtaining the right panel position of the solar panel. As the solar panel is the main source of the energy for the sustaining process, it is important to have the right panel position which can get the maximum energy from the sun. Moreover, as the sun path varies the whole year depending on the location of the place where panel is located, the project attempted to get the daily and annual solar paths for Singapore area and the specific angles’ values for the orientation of the solar panel which can obtain the optimum solar energy level from the sun. Using MATLAB software, the experiment is conducted through a series of calculations for important parameters like solar angles and tilt angles. The experiment is aimed for the local panels in Singapore area and is simulated for the solar angles and intensity for a whole year.
