This has led to production of small Bluetooth low energy devices called iBeacons. These devices can be used to send location based information to the mobile phones having Bluetooth v4.0. A lot of applications has emerged using these iBeacons. In this report, an Android application for Event management using iBeacons is presented. In this system, iBeacons has been used to provide location based information to the visitors of the event. Also the application is designed to be used by Event Organisers, Exhibitors and Visitors of the event. The Organisers and Exhibitors can use the application to manage the event having specific functions for them. The Visitors is provided with a wide range of features to get various information about the event along with the iBeacon support that enables them to get live information in the event based on different locations through iBeacons present there. Firstly, this report introduces to the Bluetooth Low Energy and iBeacon technologies. Then the hardware and software requirements of the system followed system architecture is presented along with the cloud server setup process. Then the implementation of the system is explained in detail with all functions and features. Finally, the GUI of the application is presented. Finally, the recommendations for the future work to further improve the project is mentioned.
