Description
Summary:Improvement and innovation of new materials for energy storage are necessary to make more efficient use of our finite sources of energy and to achieve effective use of renewable sources of energy. Lithium ion batteries (LIB) is an important component in portable energy storage and usage for environmentally friendly transportation such as electric vehicles. Within the components of LIB, cathode, anode and electrolytes, cathode is usually the most expensive component and hence being an interest and intensely researched on.
