Summary:The waiting time before going into the consultation room to see the doctor is always absurdly long. One can easily spend their whole morning at the clinic just to see the doctor. The introduction of online reservation, queueing and alert system has brought great flexibility to many industry (E.g. food industry). So why not bring it to the medical sectors in clinic? Thus under this project, ClinicQ, an Android application is developed to change registration process of clinics once and for all. ClinicQ will allow users to make walk-in appointments online at any point of time. ClinicQ also investigates on the functionalities and capabilities available on an Android mobile device such using the camera to scan for the barcode of an identity card, placing one’s finger at the camera lens to measure heartbeat. A colorblind game was also implemented as part of a health awareness module. The focus of this dissertation will be on the development of ClinicQ. There will be details about the implementation process and developments process of ClinicQ. Evaluation and comparison of the data will be done from the results obtained from the experiments.
