The core functionalities of the system are locating the user using video stream from camera, and marking objects surrounding the user. This project is done on top of others’ works, especially the research on computer vision technologies by the Rapid-Rich Object Search (ROSE) Lab and the research of indoor localization using image matching by Tao Qingyi in her final year project.
