Summary:Novels of Eighteenth- Century England demonstrates how women's clothing differed in terms of Class, Sexuality, and national identity. This Final Year Project shows the perception and presentation of women through their clothing which is explored through four novels of Eighteenth- Century England. Three of the four novels were written by the "Fathers" of the novel, and the fourth by a woman who complicates the masculine tradition and its representation of women and their consumption of clothes.
