Description
Summary:The Thought Of Nothing is a lens‐based project that was conceived from my existential contemplation on nothingness and my desire to escape the daily bustle of life. It is a visual investigation of my pursuit of this nothingness and my experimental practices to a mental void. Exploring with ways one can experience nothingness, this project focuses significantly on the sensory process of each practice. Within this, I seek mental catharsis and experiential exploration through the embodiment of an empty mind. Nothing: A state of mind when all is calm with no particular thoughts jumping out. It does not mean one is completely devoid of thoughts. It is the point in time when one objectively and detachedly perceives his or her thoughts.
