Description
Summary:Paranoia is a visual effects (VFX) short film produced by Yeo Huang Hao and I. Based in a surreal desert scape, Paranoia is the story of one man’s encounter with a mysterious entity lurking in the sands. Approach: The project aims to primarily examine and explore the visual effects pipeline, as well as a technical inquiry into 3D, compositing and tracking software such as Maya, Mudbox, NukeStudio and PFTrack. In addition, the production phase was a large and consequential part of the project. Paranoia was shot outdoors at a private sand depositary locale in Singapore, on a Blackmagic URSA 4K PL camera. Originality/Value: This VFX student short film was shot entirely outdoors in Singapore, and also one of the few Examples of a multi-disciplinary collaboration across different majors.
